This is a short guide on how to view the members of a Facebook group. This is especially handy for those of you that are group administrators!
On a desktop PC, it is pretty straight-forward, as there is a “Members” tab right beside the “Discussions” tab:
If you click on the “Members” tab, you will be given a full list of the people that have joined your group. You will also be given the option to order the member list by alphabetical order or by “join date” (this shows you the newest members first).
On the Facebook app, the setup is a little different. Currently, on mobile, you will need to press the “Info” tab, which is the furthest option on the right:
Once you click on “Info”, you will be brought to the Group Info page. There, you will find the “Members” option underneath “Edit Group Settings”. Note that “Edit Group Settings” will only appear if you are an administrator. If you are not an administrator, then the “Members” option will be one of the first options that you see.
It is worth noting that the “Members” listing on Facebook mobile will be separated into two categories: “Friends” and “Others”. Friends are friends of yours that have also joined the group, whereas “Others” are other non-friends that have joined the group.
